The REDWING 21 is a capable pocket cruiser. She has simple pleasing lines and will be a JOY cruising the waterways. She is designed for various power including outboard in a well or an inboard. Speed is a relaxing 6 to 10 knots depending on power selected. She will be economical to power and cruise long distances on very little fuel. Although trailerable, she is capable on her own bottom. With 40 gal of fuel and an inboard diesel, she will cruise for more than 500 miles with fuel to spare. A sound isolated engine will provide hours of silent cruising. She has accommodations for two or four in her cozy cabin layout.
Construction is Stitch and Glue or Glue and screw 1/2" plywood and epoxy over plywood frames.
Estimated cost for quality construction materials (not including power) is $16000. This cost includes a high level of outfit and finish you can be proud of after putting the effort into building this fine boat.
